A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Good morning everyone. Hope Pickles continues to heal and no surgery is needed. Well we have two maybe three cats here now. The neighbor has brought in cats to help control the rodents, so he says. However since we have been here we have seen two chipmunks, a squirrel, one skunk and a few Black snakes. He doesn't feed them well enough saying keeping them hungry makes them hunt for food. So Sue and I have been putting out food for them and they have now become our cats. I put a bed on the front porch and the male and one female have made it theirs. They snuggle together on the bed at night and guard the front door. I guess we will end up putting a cat house on the front porch to protect them from the winter cold.
