Karen, welcome to the Old Fella Family, the Family that just keeps on growing! I hope you will join us sometime in the future, and maybe someday I will get up to your neck of "The Woods". We have another member of our FOOF Family (Dan, aka Colliehauler) who has several Collies, including at least one who looks a lot like your Duchess.
Carole, I am glad that you seem to have discovered a possible solution for Wolfie in the soft muzzle. I have many friends who need to use muzzles on their greyhounds when they are running with other dogs and, of course, they are required on all racing dogs because the dogs get so competitive when they're running. If Wolfie is comfortable with the muzzle on, then, by all means, give it a try, and let us know how things work out on the trip.
