Sorry I haven't responded yet but I had to read to the end to see if you had found Jewel. Have you all tried Animal Control and any rescues in your area? I volunteer at a couple here in Colorado and unless you go visit them and look for yourself, you won't know. Sometimes they put the wrong breed on the ticket and all the front desk has is the written description. Please go visit if you haven't already done so. My heart and prayers are with you. Did you have her chipped?
