That's exactly what I was thinking because we do have a lot of coyotes in Colorado. We also had them in California walking in the middle of the street early in the a.m. but two of them eventually got a cat (and their owner had been warned when they had recently moved in) from some new neighbors. We're invading their territory by all the building so they go after our pets. Believe me, I watch my maltese any time they go out (even in the day), especially at night. Just be cautious Richard because if they come in a pack, they will take your bigger dogs down. Good luck!
