2 men shot - confrontation at campground

I think there’s a whole lot more unsaid than said. Both parties were armed, so why was one group “concerned about guns”? Was the other group threatening people? If not, why confront them? Alaska has a big alcohol problem and guns and alcohol DO NOT MIX. So maybe HappyKayakers is on the right track.

I'm surprised the news account didn't mention alcohol. At that time of the morning, it's almost a given.

A 29 year old and a 31 year old were 'concerned by the guns'.

But, when the 31 year old got shot, the 29 year old produced a gun and shot aggressor.

I'm sure there's more to this story.
