77 South to Huntington State Park, SC.
I am heading to Huntington Beach SC on Sat/Sun. I am planning on taking 77 South to get there. I wanted to avoid the Darlington area to Myrtle Beach because of the Nascar race. Any suggestions?

- I77 to 485-to Matthews then hwy 74 to Hamlet NC then hwy 38 S to hwy 501 into Conway
hwy 38 will be 2 lanes for about 25 miles until you reach Bennettsville Sc then 4 lanes. - Thank You! I am looking at that alternative.
- I did a Google map search from Charlotte to Huntington Beach State Park and they showed an alternate route which bypasses both Darlington and Florence and took only about 10 minutes longer. It sends you from Charlotte towards Matthews, Rockingham and then down to Conway. Have a great stay.
