9 W in New York to 95 south
after crossing the tappen zee bridge has anyone travled 9W south along the Hudson river down to 95 ...or would u take the garden state parkway..I'm driving a 38'motorhome towing a car

When I go that way, after I cross the Tappan Zee Bridge I almost always stay on I-87 W to I-287 South to the NJ Turnpike. Basically a big bypass to keep me away from the heaviest traffic that is all around NYC (even in NJ).
Of course, it depends on time of day and day of the week but there is almost always lots of congestion the closer you are to NYC.
