I travel that route a lot with my TT in tow. Well, I used to....
It is outrageous what they charge to take you across the pond.
But there is no choice. If you want to go to Victoria with a vehicle, you must take a ferry.
BC Ferries charges through the nose for non standard vehicles. Last time I went with my 25 foot TT I paid something like $215. each way. With RV I am overheight so get dinged for that too. I think my dually by itself is 69 bucks or something like that. I'm overheight without my TT, as I have a rack on the back.
Your TV and TH will be more than my dually and TT. 300 sounds about right for one way. Well, it doesn't sound right but it sounds close to what they will charge....
Before driving to Canada and then Tsawwassen for the ferry I would check out options to come from the US destinations. I believe they have ferries from Port Angeles and Anacortes and perhaps a couple others but I'm not sure. I have never done the US routes, only the BC Ferries ones. Coming from Portland it is a lot closer anyways.
I don't do the Island as much as I used to because they keep cranking the prices up up up up.
And my current TT is 3 feet longer than the old one...:R:R
