Imagine my pain, it costs $275 for me to tow my trailer onto the Washington State Ferries at the end of every trip we take! Maybe that's why I'm the only person I know that lives on this island and travels with an RV.
Victoria is a very "foot friendly" city and you would do fine with walking on. Over and back in a single day is tough, and a long day. Maybe one night in a hotel in Victoria, and you'd still save a bunch of money over taking the RV over.
