After a week or so in the National Parks area, we will usually stop for the first night at the KOA, just out of Hinton. It is one of the nicest KOAs in the system. Then the next days drive will put us into Grande Cache about mid day. There we will stop in at one of the most excellent grocery stores to resupply, there are a number of good places to eat out in town as well, get fuel and by this time of day, we like to go out to the campground run by the town of Grande Cache. It is located on the east side of town, in a nice wooded area. We on our last visit had water and electricity, with a sani dump included, on the way out by the office. Good firewood available to purchase at the office, which is run by a host that lives there with their family. Their young son, had just gotten his driver's license the days before our arrival so he quickly volunteered to deliver out firewood. His mom told me later he would do anything that would involve him in driving the family pickup truck. LOL Real nice young man, that stopped by our campsite, a couple of times to see if we needed anything else.
Charge for camping was something like $20cnd for partial and another $5cnd for a full hookup site. Nice hot showers included.
