Alternate route from South Indiana to North Myrtle Beach

Wife and I are heading to North Myrtle Beach area late this week. We're tired of taking the same old route thru Knoxville, Ashville and Columbia. Been that way many times. We'd like to try a new route...

I-77 north will be backed up or at least bumper to bumper from Mt Airy to the Big walker tunnel just north wytheville VA on saturday. It is the only direct routes from Myrtle Beach to Ohio. If anyone knows of better route, please share with the state of Ohio. Lol
