- iguana07Explorer IIEstafeta worked for us once had to go to their office for pick up in P.V.
I thought Estafeta was only Mexico to Mexico delivery?
UPS trucks would come from Guad to P.V. I would see them once in a while on the 200 in front of L.D.M. transferring packages from one van to another. - briansueExplorer
Once again from experience. DHL handles all deliveries to me and UPS is lost.
So how well does Estafeta do when compared with DHL? People have told me Estafeta is the way to go. They once promised 2 days or less to anywhere in Mexico. - tepetapanExplorerUPS covers Mexico, sort of. There is a large distribution center in Veracruz city, along with another office in the opposite side of town. The problem is that UPS only wants the gravy and does not want to deliver outside of a metropolitan area. Contrary to their TV commercials. I can tell you from experience, Amazon does not play that game and will put the pressure on them to fulfill their contract. Now, if for some reason a package is shipped UPS to Veracruz city, they ( UPS) hand it off to a secondary carrier.
this is why Amazon will never work with UPS in Mexico, no service and no commitment. Once again from experience. DHL handles all deliveries to me and UPS is lost. A big Dog, in the US, can not play with the Big Dog of the world. - briansueExplorer
They were delivered by UPS to their door.
I guess I just do not recall ever seeing a UPS truck in Mexico. - iguana07Explorer IIWe have used DHL
Friends who live in Lo De Marcos bought lots of stuff on line from AMAZON in the past. They were delivered by UPS to their door. Wait times were LONG! - briansueExplorer
Why would you think that? Do you have information not being shared by Amazon to the public?
Not sure what the question is. To my knowledge Estafeta promises two day delivery almost anywhere in Mexico - at least they did a few years ago - and we could pick up parcels at local offices. Has this changed? Is this not true? I have no idea what Amazon does in Mexico. Someone brought up other carriers who are standard in the US and I added Estafeta as a possible option.DHL UPS Fed ex
I am not even sure UPS operates in Mexico. Do they? Isn't Estafeta sort of the UPS of Mexico? I do not know what options Amazon offers in Mexico. Mail? I am sure you know a lot more about it than I do so perhaps you can explain the shipping options that may or may not be available for shipping by Amazon within Mexico from their warehouses in Mexico. How would an RVer arrange to have something shipped in Mexico? - tepetapanExplorer

I'm tempted to order something just to give it a try. I have to wait, I'm planning a six-week trip to Guanajuato. :)

- clarlkExplorerHave been using Amazon for the last year , about 25 purchased products. from electronics, books, pool parts , toools to shoes
Avg. delivery time 9 days from the states... record is three days and one package that did not show ( 100 % refund from Amazon) should get better with a Warehouse in Mexico..
all should be good for Mexico , will make some of the shops that are price gouging lower there rates if they want to stay open. And add more jobs to the economy as the shipping companies will need to expand ( DHL UPS Fed ex )
