Ammo OK?
I'm having my firearm shipped to AK and the US licensed gun dealer says there should be no problem taking my ammo across the Canadian border but I want to make sure.

I used to commute back and forth from Springfield Oregon and Terrace BC in 2010. Used to by hand gun and rifle ammo at Cableas almost every trip as it is so cheap. Never once got searched or hassled. Told the border guy every time, never once did he even flinch. If I flew from Portland to Vancouver I just told the agent when I checked in and they put a differant coloe tag on the bag. When I got to Terrace I had to pick it up at the counter rather than the normal spot.
