Any restrictions if I take this route to San Fran?

I'm driving a 40' AC Eagle, towing a Jeep Wrangler.

Looking at the map it looks like the following route is the most direct route;

Heading north on I-5, then west on I-580 which turns into I-238 continuing west, south on I-880, west on 92 (San Mateo Bridge), then north on I-101 to my final destination Bayview.

Note: not sure about vehicle restrictions on the San Mateo Bridge.

or would you'all suggest I head into San Fran from the south?

Heading north on I-5, (cutting across) west on I-152 to I-101 north to my destination Bayview.

Note: Only area that looks time consuming is I-152. If the roads are good, it might be better / easier to head straight into San Fran on I-101.

I would like to take the easiest / stress free drive into San Fran, but in this instance / situation, travel time is also a concern.

Note: I'm in Phoenix and am planning on driving straight to Bayview. Taking a break at rest stop, or on an exit somewhere.

Thanks for the advise / route recommendation!

I would take I-5 to 152 over to 101 north thru San Jose to the Bayview district off 101. The best time to hit Gilroy would be after 9:30am.

    Thanks Mary!

Depends on time of day you're transiting the area. The south route on 152 will save you bridge toll across the San Mateo Bridge as you can come through San Jose and up the peninsula on 101.
If you're going to come through during PM commute hours - do the 580.

Are you sure of your destination?
Bayview/Hunter's Point isn't the best of areas.

I appreciate the heads up on the area. Once I finalize / secure this contract, it looks like I may have my hands full, and Calvin will be earning his keep!

I'm hoping (by adjusting my breaks, etc.) to time my arrival at, or before sunrise. So traffic shouldn't (or I'm hoping it won't) be an issue.

    Thanks again!

Sorry I5 to 280 across San Mateo bridge. Best time is between 10am and 3pm or at night after 7pm

    Thanks! ....
