Any suggestions for a stop between Philly & Charleston, SC?

We're heading down in March and haven't decided on a place to stop on the way down. I'm thinking somewhere to stay 1-2 days in mid-March. On the way back up we're thinking of stopping in Charolette ...

Have stopped at Carolina Crossroads a few times. Decent CG. You can wash RV there.

Another way of avoiding the Baltimore/DC traffic is to take 301 all the way down. Nice ride once S of Waldorf.
