- briansueExplorerThis is not really an endorsement or recommendation but we used Sani . . . http://sanidentalgroup.com/ . . . and think all went well. Many of the dental places in MX will post their fees on their websites so you can come to some idea of cost. You can also call many of them to ask questions and get answers. We have found for the most part the dentists in MX do not try to add to their original estimates as many in the US do. And for the most part they do not try to sell additional things you may or may not need. But we did feel Sani was trying to sell us on things we might not really need. But Sani has at least 4 buildings we know of and a great many people working for them. They get lab work done in a couple of hours instead of days or even up to a week some dentists tell us things will take. You will find quite a few other dentists in Mexico with websites and prices posted. You will also find patient reviews of many different facilities.
Another example we noted - they have the latest Xray equipment where they take a shot of your mouth and it is immediately on the computer screen where they can zoom in for greater and greater detail. We had a very complicated root canal requiring a lot of work and quite a few Xrays. Quoted about $100 US and charged exactly $100 US with no additional charges for the extra work or multiple Xrays we have been charged for in US. All in all we have no complaints about any dentist we have had work on us in MX - and we have been to several over the years (as we RV we can just go to the place nearest where we will be instead of special trips to just one place). - starnetExplorer

We have used a couple of different Dentists in Los Algodones, over the Last 12 or so years.
Last Spring My Wife my Wife had a Filling replaced by Doctor Navarone. There are several ,all relatives named Navarone.
Take Your pick ,they have a good reputation, modern equipment and clean offices.
Thank you. I've been researching a lot. I've found some highly recommended dentists at the AZ and also the TX border.
I'll look into Dr Navarone's reputation, too. Thanks. - robatthelakeExplorerWe have used a couple of different Dentists in Los Algodones, over the Last 12 or so years.

yes, it is my first post, because I don't have RV, therefore I was never part of an RV forum! I just joined yesterday to ask if any fellow Minnesotans also head down to Mexico for dental work. - starnetExplorer

I know a very good dentist in Minneapolis (let me know if you would like his name). Traveling to Mexico to save a few bucks on dental work seems ill advised. Todd
Who is your good dentist? (The problem is the astronomical prices) - starnetExplorer- (duplicate)
- starnetExplorerFor those of you who do go to Mexico for dental work, who do you recommend?

I can't even begin to add up how many thousands of dollars we have saved by going to dentists in Mexico. Some things cost about a tenth of what they cost in the US. We see some of the most modern and up to date state of the art equipment as well as excellent dentists. We have friends from Canada having implants done saving around $30,000. That adds up to more than a few bucks. - The_TexanExplorer

I suppose you could save that much by letting your teeth go to hell for years.
Not really. I get my teeth checked and all work done yearly. One year the dentist in the US wanted $3800 for the required work, and in Algodones, the dentist did the same work for LESS than $500. Last year the dental bill was $4000± in Algodones for approx $10,000 worth of US dental work. So no, you do not have to let your teeth go for years to save that amount.
Also, the Dentist in Algodones has more modern equipment and her education far surpasses the Dentist we go to here in the states. - 2oldmanExplorer III suppose you could save that much by letting your teeth go to hell for years.
