Around Dallas/Forth Worth
Coming from the east on I30 I would like to pick up I20 west. What is the best route around Dallas/Fort Worth? Thanks

I-30 to I-635 on east side of Dallas, south on I-635 to I-20 west. Easy changes and bypasses most of Dallas and Ft Worth on the south side. Just don't approach Dallas on I-30 early on a weekday morning, 6 am to 9:30 am. After that you will not likely have any traffic problem, barring an accident of course.
Lived close to 26 years in northeast Dallas suburbs.
Always take I-635/ I-20 around the south side of the metroplex when headed west on I-20.
