Atlanta route
We're traveling south on I75 from KY going to FL. What is the best route around Atlanta?

I traverse Atlanta quite frequently at all times of the day. As has been advised, my choice would be directly thru on the downtown connector (I-75 and I-85) from 10Am to 3Pm. Stay in the middle lanes because as suggested, the far right lane will often become and exit only lane and you cannot move over. Just relax and take it at your own pace and let the locals speed their way into misery. Only caveat is the occasional accident that might slow you down, but that could happen on any roadway in the area. Watch your driving and let the passengers enjoy the view of beautiful downtown Atlanta.
