Will be taking I-20 West. I was told a good way to avoid the Dallas area is to take I-49 N to Texarkana and then catch US 82 West. I am going to be pulling our 28 TT. Is this a good option ? ...

We go to Lawton often. We have family there. We go from Florida but we do take I-20 to US69 to US82. If you want to avoid the I-44 toll you can take US81 north through Duncan OK and take OK Hwy 7 across to Lawton. All ok roads. There is a bypass around Duncan. If you need campground recommendations let us know.
