I would like to thank everyone or you that have responded to my question. I really appreciate it. I have been really lucky with my fifth wheel as far as it being trouble free, however I just discovered a problem. I feel so lucky that I caught it now, before starting out on a long trip. Was underneath greasing the shackle bolts, when I discovered that one of the shackles had broken the weld. Most of you are aware that the shackles have two pieces of metal that are welded to the frame at the top and then at the bottom the bolt goes thru them to hold the spring in place. Well I discovered that on one side, the shackle weld had broken at the top and that one side was not doing anything. At some point when I made a turn, with only the one side attached, the shackle was bent really bad. I now have to try and find someone with a portable welder to come to my house and straighten and reweld this shackle. It is a big pain in the rear, however nothing compared to what it could have been if I had not found this before we left out.
Again I wish to thank all who replied to my question concerning the Atlanta Traffic
