Saw the post about avoiding San Francisco.. Hubby and I are going to be at Beale AFB dead of winter and heading south. Would really like to go east on I 80 to Hwy 395 and then head south to Edwards AF...

Highway 120 through Yosemite (Tioga Pass) closes in the winter and doesn't open until Spring. Dates when it closes and opens depends on the snow level.
