In a Tiffin Motorhomes owners magazine an owner writes about a clogged filter. He did not yet go to Mexico and is asking about fuel in Mexico. If US fuel with 15ppm can clog one of these filters what can fuel in Mexico do? If a new diesel motorhome drives down into Mexico believing the fuel will be ULSD / UBA and puts that fuel in their vehicle will they find themselves having to pay for expensive repairs?

A sort of letters to the editor called Serious Tech Talk a writer says his diesel particulate filter was clogging and had to be taken out and sent in to have the particulates burned off. This was while using US ULSD. What would happen if he put the wrong fuel in? I am assuming this was covered under warranty. But if he puts Mexican LSD in the vehicle and has some sort of problem with this filter or regenerator will it be covered under warranty and can it be repaired in Mexico? If he is told he can drive the Baja and find ULSD and then gets down there and finds he can only get LSD and he has engine problems will his warranty be of any use?
Moiseh - the guy in your link did identify that red sign as being gasoline - he posted the pictures to show the letter BAJO and UBA - no UBA on diesel signs yet.
