42S and 42 ok with the 5er? Am I better going up the 101 to the 42 and over? Thanks.

I would avoid 42S to Bandon and take 42 to Coos bay. The few mile difference is worth it. 42S is fine as long as nothing large is coming the other way, it's narrow at many points. Stay relaxed and take 42. Bandon is a really nice town.
