Banning to Tehachapi?
Whats the best route to tow between Banning and Tehachapi? I-15 to 138 to Palmdale north to 58 I-15 to 395 to 58 The latter is 25 miles further but have heard its faster and an easier drive.

Hwy 138....DEATH HWY
I lived in High Desert for 20 years.
2 Roads/Hwys I hated driving on due to lots of head on collisions was 138 and Palmdale road (Victorville to Palmdale)
395 is a 2 laner hwy but seems not as many idiots driving on it
