Best Road for 38 ft RV & tow to Rt 101 from I-5

Any advise or experience from anyone on the best road for our size unit to get to the northern California or southern Oregon coast rd 101. Have researched on line Routes 36, 299 or possibly 199 in Or...

Interesting that from Old Station its the same Distance/time to get to Crescent City with either of 2 routes: 89,I-5,199, 101. Or 44, 299, 101.

If you don't have any need to be south of Crescent City for any reason, I would take 89, I-5, 199, and 101.
