Best route Airport Pittsburg, PA to Bedford, PA

Would like to know the best route from the Pittsburgh airport (not towing). I-376 East to I-76 South East (Turnpike) OR.... I-376 East to I-79 South to I-70 East to I-76 East (Turnpike) ...

I would think that option # 2 would add a lot of time and miles... is it possible to plan the trip threw the city after rush hour ?

I was just on 376 a few weeks ago and it was fine... but then again it was 7pm
