I must say our crossing could not have been easier or more pleasant. Just a normal wait in the line of vehicles. We had a big dog in the back seat eagerly wanting attention from the customs official. We had all the necessary papers but he never asked one word about the dog.

It was just a bit more 'serious' coming back into the US, but really no problem.

I'm sure it could be different, but this was our experience.
