Looking for recommendations on the best route to take driving a diesel MH to Long Island, NY. I'm coming from I-81 N / I-78 E.

What darsbeb1 said !! That is one crowded interstate into LI at times !! Best time is later in the evening or real early in the morning IMO. In the morning 1,000,000 people are headed into NYC and in the afternoon 1,000,000 people are headed back home to LI.
