101 and 1 intersect at Leggett. But all those roads are pretty twisty. Getting on 1 at Leggett is really you're only other choice, unless you want to go way south of Willits and come back up on 128. It's been a while since I've been up there, but if my memory is correct all those roads are close to the same driving conditions.
