Best route from Alpine Tx to Carlsbad NM
Which is best route? We are going to be approx 15 miles north of Carlsbad. Thought about 90 to54 then 62/180?

Hwy 90 and 54 are good roads.
We have taken 54 from Van Horn to Carlsbad several times. There will be a sharp incline when you get close to the park, other that that it is a good road.
