Best Route from AZ to Portland OR o/a Feb 25-28

Have plans to drive from AZ to Portland OR sometime the week of Feb 25th sometime to pickup our new camper. What route would you all recommend--especially in light of the weather this time of the yea...

The West Coast has been really cold and snowy. No end in sight until at least Feb 25. I-5 would be a lot less trouble.

Watch the weather as it gets closer. If it warms up then I would take the shorter route which is more interesting.
