Best route from Kansas City to Seattle

When we moved from Tennessee to the Seattle area last January we pretty much followed our truck driver. I-70 through Kansas to just outside Denver taking the 470 toll road up to I-25 north getting off at exit 269B at Fort Collins. This is HWY 14 then HWY 287 which connects to I-80 in Laramie, WY. Continued on I-80 until I-84 north of SLC, UT then followed I-84 to I-82 in northern Oregon. I-82 ends at I-90 and continue west to Seattle over Snoqualmie Pass.
