Best route from Kansas City to Seattle

Been there done that! We moved to KC from Everett years ago, we went through Boise, SLC and Denver to KC. We just drove to Denver following our same route this summer, its long but very doable. We also have driven I80 through Lincoln to Larime, preferred that route. We also drove through Montana/SD. I personally didn't enjoy that drive as much. Google shows 3 routes on Interstates, all are very doable with a U-Haul. Do pay attention to wind warnings, on our drive back (with our car) the winds were bad, many trucks and RVs had hunkered down in near overpasses. Enjoy the trip!
