Best route from Pahrump to I15 heading North

Head back toward Vegas on 160, go pass the area of road construction, turn on to 159 down thru Red Rock Canyon, then get on the 215 to head north to get back on I-15. That way you'll completely avoid the I-15 through Vegas.

160 to I-15 at Exit 52 is 71 miles.

160 and north on 95 to I-215 north of Las Vegas is 102 miles.

We would take 95 for less traffic even though it's a little longer.

Really, the shortest route is Nevada highway 160 south from Pahrump to I-15. True, you have to go through Vegas, but it is the most direct route. You could take 160 north to US 95, then east to Nevada 215 to I-15, but we much prefer the southern route. It's also about 80 miles further going around to the north.

Go early and avoid the traffic.

Dont know about best but you could go to 95 and go north through Tonopah then 6 to Ely and then to Wendover to Salt Lake.
