Good morning!
The next leg of our see-your-beautiful-state route is from Glenwood Springs to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, staying in Grand Lake.
Any recommendations on routes? How's 131 to 134 to 40 to 34?
Having followed your trip so far I'd suggest based on your previous routes to get to Silverthorne on I-70 take Rt 9 to Kremmling then Rt 40
to Rt 34 just before Granby and then on over to Grand Lake - then Trail Ridge to Estes.
Easy Beautiful drive - i'd think about doing the Trail ridge part early in the AM before traffic if you have an issue with that.
BOL,
What Bill said ^^^^^
Not a difficult drive at all, and it's quite beautiful, and a bit different, heading north on CO 9 between Silverthorne and Kremmling. Hot Sulphur Springs is a funky little town, worth a stop.
