Best Route Salt Lake City, UT to Grants Pass, OR
Will be traveling in 40ft motorhome with toad. Retired and in no rush just want to enjoy route scenery without nail biting travel. Thanks

- I recommend heading west on I-80 until you reach Winnemucca, Nevada. North on 95 and then meander to Lakeview, OR and Klamath Falls, OR. From there choose which route you want to complete your journey.
There can be strong winds on I-80 at times, but the road is great, as all are. You will be in desert/arid regions. Make sure you fuel up before heading out on some if the remote areas.
This, in my opinion, is some of the most beautiful, albeit remote, areas of the region. Watch for herds of wild horses & donkeys, as well as antelope.
