TX DOT web site shows south bound I-35W as open with no construction delays from 287 junction to I-20 until 4 Dec.
However, 81/287 south of Decatur is shown to have lane closures and delays. Plus starting on 4 Dec 15 there will be construction on I-35W affecting south bound lanes for one day and again on 8 Dec for one day.
