Best RV route from Washington DC to Boston
Traveling in an A class this sumer from Georgia to Williamsburg PA. to DC then to Boston then Maine. I need help the best route from DC to Boston. Do you cross the GW bridge in New York?

Timing is important on the Tappan Zee, either do it early(before 7AM)or after rush hour.
The above quoted post is spot on. The Tappen Zee is better on its worst day that the George Washington ever is. Coming from your direction, to get to the Tappen Zee you are probably best off taking the New Jersey Turnpike to the Garden State Parkway. At the end of the GSP you merge onto I-87S which takes you across the bridge.
