Best RV route from Washington DC to Boston
Traveling in an A class this sumer from Georgia to Williamsburg PA. to DC then to Boston then Maine. I need help the best route from DC to Boston. Do you cross the GW bridge in New York?

- What time of the day are you traveling? If it is light out...avoid 95. Between 10pm and 5am, 95 is the fastest! I have tried all the alternatives but my time on the road is precious as I am not retired. Night time travel works best for us.
- We sometimes go the GW but the Tapenzee is way better.
- I havent't checked Google maps yet, but take it from an experienced RVer who lives on Long Island ...... AVOID THE GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE and the CROSS BRONX EXPRESSWAY (I95) at any cost. There are other alternatives that will take you just north of NYC.
Sit tight there will be plenty of responses here with some good alternatives.
