- joeshmoeExplorerWe went up to Portland last Sept. around the 20th to pick up the camper. It rained every day of the 7 that we were there. Not all day, but enough to be cold and annoying. Plus my wife was sick. Wasn't best trip.
- Us_out_WestExplorerWe'll be back in the Coos Bay, OR. area in September for a month after a trip to the Midwest which starts in early May.
We were on the Oregon/Washington coast last May into July and did have some rain...but you put up with whatever the weather and just enjoy what you're doing. - SteveAEExplorerLate September / Early October....but don't tell anyone.
Steve - ksg5000ExplorerCrowding is a function of school .. that might argue for Sept. Weather wise August is probably the best month of the year.
- fly-swatterExplorerWe spent a couple weeks along the Oregon coast last September, Other than a few rainy days everything was great. Stayed at state parks and had no trouble getting a site.
- wirenutzExplorerThe 3 days of summer that you WILL get rained on in the wet side of Washington, are memoral day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and labor day weekend, if your looking for a home base while in Seattle, try the Fall City campground, lots of pull throughs, grassy level sights, 5 miles to the freeway and an easy commute across I-90
- Francesca_KnowlExplorerSeptember.
- samsontdogExplorerWe spend every July and Aug on the Oregon, Wash Coast. There will be rain at times but that's what keeps Oregon and Wash beautiful
- donn0128Explorer IIWhat part of Oregon do you want to visit? Central/Eastern June thru Late September. Mountains July August. Coast Late August thru mid September, and January. Valley, Anytime after the fourth of July thru mid September.
- Bob_OlallawaExplorerMid Sept. may get to be on the beach for a storm or two. Weather usually sunny or at least not too cold, kids in school, so better camp sites to be had.
