- pigman1ExplorerThe routes mentioned are good, but if you decide to use the PA Turnpike northeast extension or the NY Thruway, check the tolls you'll be paying based on the size of your rig. There have been tremendous increases in tolls on just about all toll roads in the northeast recently. As an example, someone reported a toll of around $75 for an RV and toad on the George Washington Bridge. Even DE 1 toll is tripled if you run it from Friday PM thru Sunday.
Check so you KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! - jeomeliaExplorerUS15/I99 N of Williamsport a little hilly but all good 4 lane, heading N they PA is hilly no matter how you go.

Leaving middle of DE. going to Niagara Falls, ON, any ideas on the best route to miss traffic around large cities.
Used to drive up that way 3-4 times a year 10 years ago and this was the route- Harrisburg - Williamsport - Corning - Batavia - Niagara Falls.
Not sure how it is now as it's been a while but it should still work.
BOL,
Friends from the Wilmington area use this way to visit their son in Buffalo, but I do know that 15 ( I think) up above Williamsport gets a little windey(sp) and last time we went that way in NY there was a lot of construction but pretty sure that should be done. - BusskipperExplorer
