Yeah, if it's a weekend, avoid the Parkway. 287 makes a big loop, but the parkway is liable to be a mess

From 287 after the Tappan Zee, you can pick up 684 to 84. Or, head towards Albany on 87 and pick up 84 there. Might be better than weekend traffic at the Tappan Zee.
