Best way from Delaware to Mass WITHOUT the gw brdge/lower ct

What a good idea to avoid the GW bridge. Traveling from the south, go north thru Maryland & Delaware on I-95. Cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge into New Jersey. Look for 287 N (outside Perth Amboy) which brings you through Jersey. Then 87 N into NY. At Newburgh, cross the Newburgh Bridge, and 84 E will take you to Sturbridge Massachusetts, and you can get on 90 E to go to Boston, etc.

We have driven this route MANY times. Very rare to have backup traffic.
