Between Los Mochis and Ixtapa - Which place you prefer

I took the bus in Cancun when I was in a resort. We rode all over the town, it was less than 1 dollars and buses where frequent. I know this is a high tourist area but I was told it is pretty good everywhere. One told me the ride to go south (or east not sure) was pretty long because they stop everywhere.
