Billings to Cody
What the be best route from Billings MT to Cody WY? 310, 114, 14 or 310, 72, 120

We left Yellowstone back on June 30th via the norhteast entrance and drove the Chief Joseph Highway (route 296) to the junction with route 120. We then took 120, 72 and 310 north to get to Billings. Good 2 lanes roads and no grades at all on 120, 72 and 310. Don't recall about 120 between the Chief Joseph junction and Cody, as it's been a few years since we drove that portion.
