Sturgis to Cody
Hey everyone! Getting ready for our big trip to Rushmore and Cody Wyoming I am wondering about the pull between Sturgis and Cody. Ayone out there done this route?

- Thanks all.Yes we are waking up early and driving in one day from sturgis to Buffalo Bill state Park outside of Cody. I guess i was more worried about the road and the grade. From sturgis to gillette to buffalo and on to cody. I found diesel fuel stops and a rest area. The mountain pull is my unknown. I know it will be a long day but the getting there is part of our adventure! Never been up there before so sightseeing along the way will be awesome for us, no kids, just me and dh!
- I-90 to Hwy 16W Buffalo, just took it last week good road
- are you thinking of going over the Bighorn Mountains via hwy 14, 14A or 16?
- Hey thanks! I was looking at trip wizard for diesel stops and was not familiar with the stations it had listed. I think i found one travel stop!
- It is farther than I want to drive in one day.
