Birmingham to savannah - best route around Atlanta
Will be going to Savannah 10/5 and looking for way to avoid central Atlanta. Was thinking 285 to 407 to 75. Any suggestions?

You know that GA-407 is I-285 right? And yes I-75 and I-85 will be running together where I-20 joins. 5 miles south I-85 splits off to the right, Left lanes go south on I-75. Get fuel in Macon, I-16 doesn't have a lot of choices. Dublin and Metter have the best choices of food and fuel in the middle.
