Birmingham to savannah - best route around Atlanta
Will be going to Savannah 10/5 and looking for way to avoid central Atlanta. Was thinking 285 to 407 to 75. Any suggestions?

Before you come into Atlanta get off I-20 at Thornton Rd./Camp Creek Parkway. Go right (south). This will take you to the Southern end of I-285. Then take I-285 around to I-75 South.
