Blue Ridge Parkway camping advice

Thing is "most" of the BRP campground sites were designed for tents. And while Linville Falls, and Julian Price Park have pull thrus. they are just wide enough for the truck, and trailer tires to go thru. Which wouldn't be a problem, except that they are curved, and the trailer tends to try to run off the drive, which it can't do because of the rocks they use to lines the drive with. In other words. you will badly curb the trailer tires when you try to drive thru. Ask me how I know.

there are other options however. Near Glendale Springs, there is Raccoone Holler. They have some pull thrus, and have full hookups. they are also right on the BRP. also near Linville, and Little Switzerland. Bear Den is on the BRP. Haven't been there, so don't know about pull thrus, but do have full hookups.
