Blue Ridge Parkway camping advice
We'll be traveling the Parkway next October and would like advice on places to stay for pull-through sites. Thanks, Lee

There are a few pull throughs at "Davidson River" near Brevard, NC. It is about 20 minutes off the parkway, but makes a wonderful hub to spend a few days to a week at. Worth giving up the pull through idea too.
We've been there each Oct. for the last 5 years. Every time we show up, we get one of the last few sites and watch people being turned away. Plan well ahead.
